Our Client is a globally recognized company - a leader in its sector and due to its further development in Poland is currently seeking to recruit for a position of a Senior Internal Auditor.

Opis stanowiska / Job description

- Evaluate accounting functions and financial reporting to ensure all management and regulatory requirements are met
- Perform independent research and compile requirements into a working audit plan. Independently coordinate and communicate with all levels of employees and management. Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as required
- Manage market audit activities, including coordinating specific markets for review and project completion and closeout with management. Document work so that all conclusions and recommendations are sufficiently substantiated to demonstrate to management any needed changes
- Participate in Europe Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing
- Follow up on outstanding audit recommendations and perform additional validation testing as necessary to ensure conditions are corrected
- Maintain professional competency in current business and accounting requirements and changes in business regulatory requirements
- Participate in preparing the annual audit plan and budget, perform risk analysis, and validate plan with proper management

Kogo szukamy / Profile description

- Education on at least Bachelor/Master level
- Accounting qualification ACCA or similar (or be in final stages of examinations)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in an international environment or External Audit Company (Big 4)
- Fluent in English and Polish (spoken and written)
- Ability to communicate extensively with senior management and third parties
- Ability to obtain proper information about the actions that have been taken by asking specific questions and reflective listening to ensure that you understood the situation correctly
